Sammy Squirrel is a lively, adventurous young Sqiuridae with a wild imagination. He can be found around the schoolhouse in Happywood, often with his friend Doug Doggert and his sister Sally.

Sally Squirrel is an intelligent, headstrong young squirrel, and Sammy's sister. She enjoys spending time down by the pond with her best friend Candi Cat. Sally is always coming up with ideas, putting to use her business acumen and engineering skills.

Fritz Squirrel is the most extreme member of the group. Wherever danger lives, Fritz is not far away. He enjoys skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, biking, and playing guitar in his band with his cousins, Sammy and Sally.

Merle Squirrel is Happywood's resident farmer, the owner and proprietor of Schoolhouse Farm. When he's not on his property growing fruits and vegetables, he can be found selling them at the Happywood Farmer's Market. Merle is always ready with a bit of home-grown wisdom.

Candi Cat is Happywood's town chatterbox. She enjoys spending time with her friend Sally, even if she does not always understand her inventions. Candi is an excellent athlete, and spends much of her time at the Schoolhouse gym, or the Happywood Recreation Center.

Buzz Rabbitson is often thought of as the grumpiest person in Happywood. He is consistently exasperated with Sammy and Sally's antics, and often keeps to himself. However, deep down, Buzz has a heart of gold.
